Jessica wrote and recorded her debut solo EP Emerge which launched to sell out shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in 2017.
Jessica O’Donoghue’s musical direction is one coloured with eclecticism and vibrancy; her opera background has led her down the alt-pop path and since, she has been infusing her music with undeniable amounts of ambition and confidence that has taken her right around the world.
Jessica’s vocals are haunting and epic, with her classical training delivering a vast range that combines lower earthy melodies with high soaring vocal textures over the top. Juxtaposing these vocal sounds with electronic beats and synth textures gives a wildly eclectic mix, with heavy Sephardic influence from her love of Renaissance Medieval music.
